Samsung Gravity Coming to Fido March 16th?

Looks like Fido is now advertising the Samsung Gravity as ‘coming soon’. From all accounts I’ve read so far it looks like ‘coming soon’ (when translated) means March 16th

Fusion Garage shipping JooJoo web tablet March 25

The controversial JooJoo has been hit with delays but Fusion Garage said it will begin shipping the web tablet March 25. The company said a manufacturing issue came up when creating the industry’s first 12.1-inch capacitive screen. Those problems have been resolved and those that pre-ordered the non-Crunchpad will get a free accessory in exchange for the delay

Over the weekend I heard rumblings that the BlackBerry Curve 8520 was indeed coming to WirelessWave. Sure enough, as soon as I checked the WirelessWave site this morning, there it was. The BlackBerry ( NSDQ: RIMM ) 8520 available in both Black and Lavender .

While these aren’t the touchscreen beauties we’ve heard about , it’s always worth noting when a carrier has something new to offer. In this case, it looks like we have some proof (via a FutureShop flyer) of the Samsung Flight and the Motorola ( NYSE: MOT ) ( NYSE: MOT ) W388, coming to Rogers ( NYSE: RCI ) ( NYSE: RCI ) and Fido respectively. The Samsung Flight features a look and form-factor strikingly similar to another popular device out on the market these days.

Motorola Confirms Phone “with Google” in the Works

Motorola ( NYSE: MOT ) has really dove into Android head-first over the last couple of months, complete with their own customized user interface, widgets, and web service, but they have yet to make a handset “with Google ( NSDQ: GOOG )”.

Android Nomenclature 101: Goodbye Flan, Hello Froyo!

Looks like the next big iteration of Android will not be known as ‘ Flan ‘, as many expected. According to Erick Tseng, the Senior Product Manager for Android, the next version of Android will be named ‘Froyo’. I can already hear some saying, ‘but I thought Android 2.1 was named Flan , what gives?’
