This was my second time at the show, and for some of my colleagues it was their third visit, so we all had a rough idea of what was going to happen. My buddy Ron over at oled-info.com has let me know about a video he found (which is sourced at portablegear.nl ) that shows the Samsung Wave (which is packing a Super-AMOLED screen) being used out in the sunlight. As many of us know, AMOLED/OLED screens have been quite variable in terms of their performance in sunlight, so it’s reassuring to see the Wave screen is good Anyway, check out the video here: Also, take some time to check out our hands-on video with the Samsung Wave here . Samsung is going to be making a special NFC equipped version of their highly popular, over 10 million units sold, S5230, more commonly referred to as the Toco Lite. It’s going to be used in trials located in Spain, France, Dubai, and most likely other places, starting soon. This device will not be mass produced however, so forget about tapping your friend’s mobile phone to get their new number, or that sext his girlfriend sent him last night.
